Philosophy M.A. Advising Town Hall

In light of upcoming changes to the M.A. program, the Graduate Coordinator team would like to invite you to attend an open advising session for our continuing students scheduled for Friday, Feb 21^st, from 2-3 p.m. via Zoom. At this event, we will primarily be going over the new changes to the M.A. program, but also be addressing other issues related to continuing students in the M.A. program.

If you are an undergraduate student who is interested in applying to the Scholars or M.A. program and are curious about changes to the program, this advising session may be of interest to you as well, and we encourage you to attend this event. If you are a current M.A. student interested in pursuing the new proposed degree path with alternative CE options, we also highly recommend you attend to explore changing degree plans may affect you. 

 We will be going over the following:

• New M.A. degree requirements effective Fall 2025
  
  • Review of alternative CE options
  • Logistics of Switching Degree Plans
  • Questions about the CE as it relates to Ph.D. applications
• Workshopping the ATC and PCE forms
• Scholarships and various funding opportunities
