Alexei Spindell will be doing a presentation on Strauss-Howe Generational Theory!

Abstract as follows:

The term “millennial” as well as much of our discussion about generations originates in a book called The Fourth Turning. William Howe and Neil Strauss believe that each generation not only has a distinct pattern of politics and personality, but that this has been recurring in cycles from the beginning of American history—if not the beginning of time. It is a strange and controversial book, both for its claims and its methodology, but there are few works that so greatly epitomize the saying "big if true". Lots to discuss!

We hope to see you all there. :)
