My primary research interests lie at the intersection of ethics, metaphysics, and the philosophy of mind, with secondary interests in the philosophy of language, the philosophy of psychology, and psychology of philosophy. Broadly, I want to know what kind of creatures we humans are, and how this informs the “shoulds” in our lives. I am currently working on a defense of a gradualist approach to free will and moral responsibility.
