Biography: I joined the San Francisco State University Philosophy Department in Fall 2018. I work primarily in epistemology (specifically answering the skeptic's challenge through appeals to foundationalism and Kantianism), political philosophy (specifically Agamben's critique of biopolitics and Camus' critique of violence), and philosophy of imagination (specifically phenomenological accounts such as early Sartre).
