Dear Students,
The philosophy department stands in solidarity with our Black students and colleagues as we mourn the loss of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and countless others who have suffered and continue to suffer police brutality and systemic racism. We join the campus community in saying BLACK LIVES MATTER.
People all over the country and the world are marching and protesting against the racial injustice we live with in the US. It is a very hard time for many members of our community, especially those of us who are Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, or members of other minority communities. The philosophy department supports you. We are committed to fighting injustice together.
