SFSU Philosophy Scores High in Racial and Ethnic Diversity
Wednesday, May 26, 2021
Dr. Eric Schwitzgebel (U.C. Riverside), a notoriously curious and consummate cruncher of any variety of philosophical data, recently wondered which philosophy programs in the U.S. have the most racially or ethnically diverse undergraduate student bodies. The results show San Francisco State University Philosophy majors ranking #7 in the United States for racial and ethnic diversity! This is out of more than two hundred programs that graduate at least 10 bachelor's degrees in philosophy per year.
See Prof. Schwitzgebel's post at The Splintered Mind for the full results and methodology used.
