For Current Students

The Department of Philosophy wishes to support our students as best we can! Please take a look through the "Current Students" menu on the left for information on regulations, procedures, and updates pertaining to our Graduate Program. We especially support our students' applications for fellowships and scholarships.

Students: Interested in taking a break from the classroom? Take a look at these opportunities for many activities for-credit that are not classroom-based. The Department offers these, as well as extracurricular activities to participate more deeply in the philosophical community.

Please contact the Graduate Coordinators, Professors Landy and Sowaal, or Dennis Browe, the Graduate Program Administrative Coordinator, with any questions you have throughout the program.

Philosophy Graduate Student Handbook

Students: download the Philosophy Graduate Student Handbook, which covers in-depth steps involved in the progress toward the degree. You are responsible for meeting all of the internal deadlines for paperwork. Submitting your materials by these deadlines will allow the departmental faculty and staff to review all documents before the Graduate Studies deadlines.
